INDYpendent Bytes turns recurring buyer demand into coordinated local production by connecting buyer needs, distributed cultivator capacity, production planning, fair allocation, and fulfillment.

  1. Buyer demand & normalization

    Recurring buyer needs become standardized product, quantity, timing, specification, and fulfillment requirements the network can plan against.

  2. Production & capacity planning

    Demand is compared against cultivator capacity, growing conditions, production windows, and network constraints.

  3. Cultivator opportunity claims

    Eligible cultivators see appropriate production or fulfillment opportunities and claim the work they are prepared to perform.

  4. Fair allocation

    Available supply is allocated across orders using defined operational priorities, including fulfillment, consolidation, fairness, and reliability.

  5. Coordinated fulfillment

    Cultivators prepare and deliver committed product to common specifications while IB coordinates the shared handoff from distributed production to buyer delivery.

  6. Settlement & network intelligence

    Completed transactions generate payment, performance, capacity, demand, and fulfillment data that improve the next production plan.

Regional food systems often have production capacity and buyer demand that cannot reliably find, plan around, or transact with one another. Each piece may work independently while the system as a whole remains fragmented.

INDYpendent Bytes provides the shared operating structure between them. Cultivators remain independent businesses. IB does not need to own farms, trucks, warehouses, or produce to coordinate a buyer-facing supply process.
